How do I add a VAT or tax ID to my invoices?

Send us your company name, billing address and tax ID and we add them to your billing record. They appear on every invoice from your next payment.

If you are buying Plot Party for a business, your invoices can show your company name, billing address and VAT, GST or other tax ID. These details are not collected at checkout yet, so we add them for you.

How to add your details

Use Contact support at the bottom of this page, or the help button in the app, and send us:

  1. The email address on your Plot Party account.
  2. Your legal company name.
  3. Your billing address, including country.
  4. Your tax ID with its country prefix, for example DE123456789 for a German VAT number.
  5. Whether you also need the details on invoices that have already been issued, and which ones.

We add the details to your billing record with Stripe, our payment processor. From your next payment onward, every invoice carries them automatically. You only need to do this once; the details stay on your record until you ask us to change them.

Invoices already issued

Tell us the dates of the payments you need updated. Where Stripe allows it we will update those invoices and send you fresh copies; otherwise we will send you a statement with your company details for those payments.

Is tax charged on my payments?

Prices on Plot Party are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes. VAT, GST or sales tax is not currently added at checkout, so the amount you see is the amount charged. If your business needs to account for tax on the purchase itself, your accountant can advise; an invoice with your company details and tax ID is usually what they will ask for.

Changing or removing the details

Moved, renamed the company or changed tax registration? Send us the new details the same way and we will update your record. Updates apply to invoices issued after the change.
