Which Plot Party tool should I use?

Story, Canvas, Generate, Studio and MCP each start from a different place. A two-minute map of what each one is for, where to find it, and which guide to read next.
Plot Party is five tools on one account. They share your Plot Points, your models and your Works page, but each starts from a different place. Here is how to choose.

Pick by what you are making
- "I have a story idea and want to see it as a short." Use Story. Write the idea, pick a style, and you get a script, a cast, a storyboard and a compiled video, with a chance to fix anything along the way.
- "I want control over every shot." Use Canvas. Each result is a node; connect a still to a video as its first frame, split a grid into frames, compare two takes side by side, stage a shot in 3D with the Director Console.
- "I just need one image or clip." Use Generate. Pick a model, fill the form, see the cost on the button. It is also the quickest way to learn what a new model is good at.
- "I am making a series or a long episode." Use Studio. You brief an agent that writes, casts and generates into a folder tree, and you step in with the same tools whenever you want to drive. Studio is in early access; ask us for access if you have a project.
- "I already work inside an AI agent." Use MCP. Connect one URL, sign in once, and ask your agent for images, video or audio. Results land in your Plot Party account.
How they fit together
You do not have to pick one for good. Common paths:
- Test a look in Generate, star the result, and it is waiting in Favorites when you build the real thing in Story, Canvas or Studio.
- Draft a microdrama in Story, then open Series from its left rail to grow it into episodes that share the same cast.
- Build shots in Canvas, collect the clips in its Timeline, and hand them to the video Editor for the final cut, or export a Story straight to CapCut or Premiere.
- Anything an agent makes over MCP shows up on your Works page under MCP, ready to download or reuse.
Things every tool shares
- Works in the header lists everything you own, in tabs: Stories, Series, Canvas, Studio, Favorites and MCP.
- Plot Points pay for every generation, at a rate that depends on the model, duration and resolution. In the app the balance is labelled Credits. The exact cost is always shown on the Generate button before you click, and failed generations are refunded. See what Plot Points are and how they are spent.
