What are Boosters?
Boosters are one-time Plot Point packs that never expire. See who can buy them, how they are spent and how to purchase one.
Boosters are one-time packs of Plot Points that you buy on top of your subscription. They are for when a big project needs more points than your plan includes, without moving to a higher plan.
How Boosters differ from subscription points
- Booster points never expire. Subscription points expire at the end of each billing period.
- Buying a Booster does not change your plan, its features or your billing date.
- Points closest to expiry are spent first, so your subscription points are used up before Booster points are touched.
Who can buy Boosters
Boosters are available to Ultra subscribers and to anyone on annual billing. If you are eligible, the plan dialog shows a Boosters tab next to Plans. On other plans, upgrading or switching to annual billing unlocks Boosters. Members of an organization share the owner's Plot Points, so only the owner can buy Boosters.
How to buy
- Open the plan dialog and switch to the Boosters tab.
- Pick a pack and click Buy Booster.
- Complete the one-time payment in Stripe checkout. The points are added to your balance within a minute.
Booster purchases are one-time payments and, like all Plot Points, are non-refundable under our Terms of Service.
